You know when you're on a plane and the cabin crew say put your own oxygen mask on before you help others? I always think no, I'd do my child's first thanks very much. But they have a point. If you don't help yourself first, you won't be any good to anyone will you?
So with this in mind, let's all take a big gulp of oxygen first. Before anyone else. 3,2,1....BREATHE DEEPLY.
I have haven't been very self caring lately and I thought it was about time that I was. I've just made these awesome Self Love t-shirts and forgotten to practice what I preach!
I'd love you to come along this journey with me. As hard working parents we often push ourselves to the back of the queue and end up feeling rather burnt out. That stops now.
I've put together a list of easy things you can do for yourself. Let's spend the next 30 days being kind to ourselves and taking a little time out. Even if it's just for five minutes or the time it takes to drink a cup of tea (without being microwaved hot again!)
This isn't a challenge, no one is going to get cross if you miss a day. The list is something you can follow on a daily basis or dip in and out of. I'll be posting daily on Insta. But I'd like you to spend the next 30 days indulging in this list just a little.
I'll bet you my last Rolo that I struggle to put myself first on some days, but I'm going to have a good old stab at it.
